Georgia is a classically trained musician who discovered Bowen therapy while she was pregnant. She was so impressed with the experience that she subsequently went on to train with the Bowen Association UK, graduating in 2016.

Since then she’s continued to learn and train, with Trevor Griffiths (Assessment Techniques), Jacqui Hoitingh (Intuition and Bowen Technique), and John Wilkes (Treating Mothers and Babies). In 2024 she completed her advanced SPB1 training with Jacqui Hoitingh. Georgia continues to hone her skills and is committed to building her knowledge in the future through further advanced professional development training.

Since qualifying, Georgia has enjoyed being able to help a wide variety of people, from those in the local community to fellow musicians in Glasgow and the surrounding area. Georgia works in The Old Surgery Therapy Centre in Buchlyvie, Stirlingshire as well as in Glasgow City Centre.

Georgia loves Bowen for its calm and gentle style as a therapy, which gives little clue as to the often profound  results that come from it.

Georgia has full membership of the Bowen Association UK, which requires that she completes at least 16 hours of professional development each year.  She is also First Aid trained, has full public liability insurance, and is regulated by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, a government body set up to serve and protect the public.
