WHAT CAN BOWEN TREAT?

Bowen has been found to work on many levels and to be highly effective in the treatment of a huge variety of different conditions, from physical injury and discomfort such as back pain and sciatica to more subtle problems like fibromyalgia, digestive, respiratory and hormonal disorders.

Because of its gentle, non-invasive approach, Bowen can also be used to treat children, babies and pregnant women safely. The modified ‘Baby Bowen’ procedure has been developed specifically for newborns up until the age of 3, and has been used to help the respiratory and digestive problems more common in this age group.

Areas that can be treated with Bowen include:

JOINT AND NECK PROBLEMS

There are three core Bowen procedures which are often used in a first treatment to introduce a new client to the technique. These cover the lower and upper body and are both relaxing and rebalancing.

Added to these are further procedures that can address joint and neck problems in a targeted way, including frozen shoulder, back pain, knee & hip misalignment, sciatic pain, poor mobility, sports injuries, pelvic and sacral pain, and foot pain.
